The consecutive dismissals and early parliamentary elections will not solve the country’s problems, the leader of the Party of Communists Vladimir Voronin said in the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, IPN reports.
“Neither the referendum, nor the early legislative elections will solve the country’s problems. Not everyone should be dismissed, only the bad ones. If the current government falls, we will not necessarily have early elections. A new government will be formed. Not all the problems are solved by dismissal,” said the Communists’ leader.
Vladimir Voronin believes that the protests in the center of Chisinau will not have the expected result, though the intensity of the protests could increase before the presidential elections. “The Platform “Dignity and Truth” was created with the aim of ensuring someone’s entry into politics and for helping someone resolve issues. They are not the most honest persons. It’s not acceptable for the members of a party that is representative in Parliament to stay in tents. We know how they behave. When they formed part of our team, they quickly got angry. The problems in Parliament must be solved, but not by dismissals,” he stated.
According to Voronin Voronin, the events in Moldova are the result of powerful influence exerted from outside, but also from inside. “The internal influence represents the interests of the criminal oligarchs from the ruling alliance,” he stated.
The leader of the Party of Communists said he could run for a new term of President and made it clear that the potential candidates for this post are unsuitable. “We will see how things go. But those about whom they speak now are not suitable. Usatyi does nothing in Balti. Sturza is told by someone what to say. Dolganiuc robbed the whole peasants’ cartel “Saint Gheorghe”. Maia Sandu should better head a psychiatric hospital. Neither the so-called Council of the Great National Assembly includes suitable persons,” said Vladimir Voronin.
