Vladimir Voronin congratulates Russian President on Russia’s national day
The president of the Republic of Moldova, Vladimir Voronin congratulated his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Russia’s National Day.
In the congratulation message, Voronin mentions that during the last years “we are witnessing dynamic changes in the Russian society and economy”.
The head of state is sure these positive changes will bring Russia a deserved authority, and to its citizens – prosperity and security. According to Voronin “the multinational Moldovan people will always be a true and sincere ally of the Russian people”.
The Moldovan president also wished his Russian counterpart luck in his activity and to Russian citizens – peace and prosperity.
On June 12 1990, the Russian Federation declared its independence and exactly a year after Boris Eltin was elected as President.
The Day of Russia is celebrated since 1994 as a result of Boris Eltin’s decree.
