Vladimir Voronin advises MPs to see a doctor
The leader of the Communists Party Vladimir Voronin tells the MPs they should see a doctor. “I'm not a doctor, but I think all the members of the present Parliament and the candidates for the future Parliament should do some medical tests,” Voronin said at Thursday's sitting of the Parliament. The former head of state said he had some suspicions, but did not explain what he meant, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In another development, Vladimir Voronin denied having been beaten at the end of the 1980s, when he was Minister of the Inter, as Head of Parliament Mihai Ghimpu asserted recently. “I don't know what Ghimpu was talking about. You see how he's coming to the sittings in the morning. He looks as if he had been trepanned,” Voronin said.
