Vladimir Putin: All bilateral issues can be solved, but some need deeper consideration

All the problems in the bilateral relationships can be solved, but some need more attention and deeper consideration, Russian premier Vladimir Putin stated at the meeting with Moldovan president Vladimir Voronin, the press service of the Moldovan president writes, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. Vladimir Voronin and Vladimir Putin met Friday in the evening as the Russian prime-minister was in Moldova. Although Putin had earlier told the media he would discuss the Transnistrian settlement with Voronin, the press service does not mention this topic, referring only to economic matters. The Russian prime-minister remarked the progress in solving energy-related issues, especially referring to fuel and the “joint activity of Moldova-Gaz”. Putin mentioned the resumption of the Moldovan wine deliveries to Russia. He said not all the Moldovan companies which were given this right have profited from it. Vladimir Voronin shared the Russian premier's viewpoint about the positive dynamics of the Moldo-Russian relations. But the president said there were certain reserves in the bilateral relations. “We can deliver more produce on the Russian market,” Voronin specified. Before the meeting, Putin had signed with his Moldovan counterpart Zinaida Greceanai a Program of economic cooperation between the two countries till 2020.
