The Action and Solidarity Party competes in single-member constituency No. 38 Hâncești because it is the most trusted party of the right and could not disappoint the voters. It is also the party that enjoys full support from the international partners. The PAS’ candidate in these elections Olesea Stamate deserves to win the seat of MP as she really fulfills the made promises when being named to responsible posts, as the members of the party do. She is a jurist and will struggle in Parliament against the abuses of the central power and will offer assistance in implementing European projects in the constituency, MP Vladimir Bolea, who represented Olesea Stamate, stated in a public debate entitled “Stake of candidates vs. stake of voters” that involved candidates for MP in constituency No. 38 Hâncești, first round and was organized by IPN News Agency.
According to the MP, the people want to vote for Olesea Stamate because she has a concrete program aimed at supporting the mayor’s offices, at attracting European projects to build infrastructure, to rehabilitate roads, to light the streets and to construct water supply system. She will fight the schemes of corruption and will implement the European Village project in the given constituency. Olesea Stamate wasn’t afraid to correctly address the problem in the implementation of the justice sector reform so that this produces results. She can really implement things till the end.
Vladimir Bolea said that a complete lack of progress in the socioeconomic development of the country’s villages has been witnessed in Moldova since 1991. “Surely, the 25 mayor’s offices in single-member constituency No. 38 face the same problems. There is the project to build the water supply system in ten villages situated on the bank of the Prut, which was implemented in proportion of 50%. About 25 million lei is yet needed to finish the project. It is very important for the citizens of this district to have drinking water and also irrigation as we cannot speak about high-value agriculture without irrigation,” he stated.
According to Vladimir Bolea, among the problems is also the lack of street lighting, roads and transport. These problems at the beginning generated a big wave of migration. Now this district faces such serious problems as depopulation, low birth rate and lack of prospects. “Missis Stamate, as an MP, will be supported by a very powerful team consisting of 14 MPs. She definitely comes with experience in bringing European projects as the Government of Maia Sandu launched the campaign for the European village. You know that two weeks ago the European Union gave the go-ahead to this project and it will be implemented directly for each village. Surely, Missis Stamate will cooperate with each of the mayor’s offices so as to design and implement projects to attract investments to our localities, depending on the identified problems,” stated Vladimir Bolea.
He noted that when the PAS identified the person who will represent the party in this constituency, its decision was based on science, politiology and respect for the people. Olesea Stamate built a good reputation while serving as a minister.
In another development, Vladimir Bolea said that during five months while the ACUM Bloc and the Party of Socialists ruled together, Moldova rebuilt its international relations and the PAS is now the only party that enjoys the foreign partners’ complete support. After the Government of Maia Sandu was removed, the reformation process stopped and this was indirectly confirmed by the half in international assistance. “Moldova’s relationship with the EU moved to the stage of very pragmatic relations. The words are no longer believed and only deeds are expected,” stated Vladimir Bolea.
The debate “Stake of candidates vs. stake of voters” that involved candidates for MP in constituency No. 38 Hâncești, first round, was the 125th installment of the series of debates “Developing political culture through public debates” that is supported by the German foundation “Hanns Seidel”.
