Vladimir Andronachi left the Democratic Party (PDM) and will serve as an unaffiliated MP. In a press statement, the MP says the decision is an assumed one and was determined by the inexistence of a democratic and open process inside the party and its parliamentary group. He assured he will not join any other group, IPN reports.
The MP noted he is dissatisfied with the work done by the administration of the PDM, which controls the decision-making process inside the party and acts exclusively in the own interests. “I believe in the Democratic Party, but not with Pavel Filip as its president. I’m ready to return to the group of the Democratic Party and to contribute to the development of this party immediately after Pavel Filip and his micro-team leave the party and its administration,” runs the statement.
Vladimir Andronachi also said that he became “marginalized” and was deprived of the possibility of stating his own opinion and of contributing constructively to identifying the best solutions for the citizens and the country in different areas.
MP Vladimir Andronachi stated his support for the Government led by Ion Chicu and for the current parliamentary majority.
The Democratic Party remained with 12 MPs.
