Vlada Ginca has won two medals at the Israel Junior badminton tournament. In the singles, she ranked third, while in the doubles she finished second, IPN reports.
Ginca beat the representatives of Russia, Ukraine and Sri Lanka, but in the semifinals lost to Russia’s Anastasia Pustinskaya. In the doubles, she competed alongside Bulgaria’s Hristomira Popovska. The Ginca - Popovska pair scored three victories, being defeated only by the Maria Delcheva (Bulgaria) - Petra Polanc (Slovenia) pair in three sets.
Vlada Ginca is very close to qualifying for the Buenos Aires Youth Olympic Games that were scheduled for this October.
