Nicolae Timofti over the next few days will designate a candidate for the post of Prime Minister, the President’s spokesman Vlad Turcanu said after the consultations held by the head of state with the parliamentary groups, IPN reports.
“The Liberal Democratic Party put forward Iurie Leanca for premiership. The other factions didn’t field candidates. Over the next few days, the President will take a decision as regards the candidate that will be designated,” stated Vlad Turcanu.
Asked about the conditions that the Communist MPs put forward for voting for the Cabinet, Vlad Turcanu said the representatives of the PCRM submitted no proposals and mentioned no names. They didn’t formulate conditions, but specified only that there are a number of conditions for other parties.
