Democratic MP Vlad Plahotniuc renounced his seat of MP without saying the reasons for such a decision. He made such an announcement in the July 30 sitting of Parliament, after the new Government was invested, IPN reports.

“I ask you to take cognizance of my decision to vacate the seat of member of Moldova’s Parliament,” stated Vlad Plahotniuc.

This is not for the first time that the Democrat renounces the seat of MP. In October 2013, Plahotniuc announced he intends to launch a number of social projects and will work more with the people in villages on a party line. He also said then that the parties that come to power make a big mistake when they delegate their best members to work in Parliament and the Government and there are not many suitable people left to be involved in party activities.
