Vlad Goian became the new coach of the football team Saxan Ciadir-Lunga. He replaced Ivan Burduniuc, who held the post on an interim basis towards the end of the season, IPN reports.
Vlad Goian was three times named Moldova’s best coach, in 2008, 2010 and 2012. Earlier, he trained FC Tiraspol, with which he won Moldova’s Cup in 2013 and silver in the National Division in 2014. Goian also trained Rapid Ghidighici and Iskra-Stal Rybnitsa.
After FC Tiraspol withdrew, Saxan won the right to represent Moldova in the qualifying rounds of Europa League.
