The leaders of the four parliamentary parties will meet in the near future to discuss the election of the head of state, the chairman of the Liberal-Democratic Party Vlad Filat announced, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. “I think this is a necessity and we will come together for a meeting soon. We are to agree the hour, date and place of the meeting,” Vlad Filat told the press. As to the ruling alliance’s candidate for the presidency, Vlad Filat said that even if they laid down certain conditions in the agreement on the formation of the alliance, they should identify a solution so that the head of state is voted in. The presidential elections will take place on November 18.
