The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova Vlad Filat said that his party is ready for the parliamentary elections. “We are prepared to cope with any electoral battle. We are ready and will yet prepare better for the November 30 legislative elections so as to score a victory,” Vlad Filat told a news conference on Friday.
Commenting on the results of the recent Public Opinion Barometer survey, which showed that the PLDM is trusted by 32% of the respondents, as against 24% in 2013, the Liberal-Democratic leader said a poll is only a picture of the moment and the situation can still improve. According to the survey, if elections were held next Sunday, the PLDM would gain 15% of the vote. 5% of those polled said they trust Vlad Filat, down over 1%
