Vlad Filat unhappy with National Participatory Council’s activity

Vlad Filat is unhappy with the National Participatory Council’s activity. The prime minister said during a show on public TV Moldova 1 that CNP should have reacted to several situations that occurred in the society during the previous government, Info-Prim Neo reports. The National Participatory Council was created upon government’s initiative in 2010, as an consultation instrument involving the civil society, the business and academic environment in the development of national strategies. “Representatives of the National Participatory Council and the Council as a whole were not sharp enough when they noticed a problem. At least I had to learn about this thing”, Filat said. According to him, the CNP can’t throw the blame on difficulties in communicating to the prime minister. The PM didn’t learn about civil society’s problems only because a lack of initiative from the CNP, Filat added. He hopes to intensify the communication with this consulting body. The Council consists of 30 experts in various domains, representatives of the civil society.
