Vlad Filat to pay working visit to Brussels
On December 16 and 17, Prime Minister Vlad Filat will pay a visit to Brussels, where he will take part in the summit of the European People’s Party, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Government.
During the visit, the Premier will have meetings with high-ranking European officials, including the President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule, and Commissioner for International Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Response Kristalina Georgieva.
The Moldovan delegation to the summit will also include Deputy Prime Minister Iurie Leanca, Deputy Foreign Minister Natalia Gherman and the head of the European Integration Department Valeriu Gheorghiu.
