Vlad Filat to make official visits to Bruxelles and Luxembourg
In the period between June 26 and 28, Prime-minister Vlad Filat will undertake work visits to Bruxelles and Luxembourg. The PM will participate in the Official Reunion of the EU – Moldova Cooperation Council and the Moldova – EU Mobility Partnership Conference on “EU Migration Cooperation”, reports Info-Prim Neo.
According to the Government’s press service, the agenda of the visits includes several meeting with important EU officials, such as Herman Van Rompuy, President of European Council, Gunther Oettinger, European Commissioner for Energy, Cecilia Mamlstrom, European Commissioner for Home Affairs, Stefan Fule, European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy, Antonio Tajani, European Commissioner for Industry and Entrepreneurship; he will also meet Werner Hoyer, President of the European Investment Bank, and Xavier Bettel, Mayor of Luxembourg.
During these visits, several accords of cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union will be signed; among them is the Geographical Indications Agreement.
