Prime Minister Vlad Filat requested Minister of Education Maia Sandu to make a public presentation on the reform in education. “I firmly believe that the purpose of the reform isn’t optimizing, but making the educational process more efficient. We need all of the children to have access to studies, not buildings, institutions and so-on”, said the Premier at Wednesday's Government meeting, Info-Prim Neo reports. Vlad Filat has said that it must be admitted that the approach was mechanical in most of the cases. “It’s necessary to communicate with the people, to explain and justify our actions. I, for one, know of 3 cases when this lack of communication led to unwanted tensions”, said Filat. Vlad Filat asked for a very clear vision of making the educational process more efficient. “We need to find a compromise where there is room for discussions and a reasonable compromise, and in the case of blackmail, my request is that the process is brought to completion avoiding emotions”, said the Prime Minister.
