Prime Minister Vlad Filat will have a meeting with the leader of the Transnistrian region Yevgeny Shevchuk in Tiraspol on March 30. The agenda of the meeting includes the restoration of the freight train routes, Nina Shtanski, who is response for foreign relations in the Transnistrian administration, announced while in Chisinau on a visit on March 28, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Nina Shtanski, the two sides agreed to hold meetings, in turn, on the territories of the negotiating parties. “One week ago, a meeting was held in Bender, then in Tiraspol and today I came to Chisinau. I’m sure that we will move on as constructively from now on. Moreover, Prime Minister Vlad Filat was invited to pay a visit to Tiraspol on March 30 to meet with Yevgeny Shevchuk,” said the Transnistrian official. According to Nina Shtanski, the task of the sides is to reach an agreement as regards the freight train routes so as to facilitate the commercial activities of the economic entities operating on both sides of the Nistru.
