Vlad Filat to be questioned in cases concerning raider attacks

Prime Minister Vlad Filat will be questioned as a witness in the cases opened over the raider attacks that targeted banks operating in Moldova, the Prosecutor General’s Office confirmed in a communiqué, Info-Prim Neo reports. The communiqué says the necessity of questioning the Prime Minister derived from his statements that he possesses information about this subject. The day and hour of the questioning meeting have not been yet arranged, but will be set depending on the official’s schedule. The investigation is carried out by the prosecution division of the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime under the direction of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office. The Prosecutor General’s Office said that ten persons including bailiffs, brokers and employees of different companies have been questioned by September 20.
