Premier Vlad Filat told Info-Prim Neo that the recession in Moldova was overcome and there was achieved an insignificant economic growth, but the Government is not satisfied with this and will not stop here. “The economic growth was less than 2% and we can say that the recession was overcome,” the Prime Minister said. “The Government will make everything possible to increase this percentage.” According to Vlad Filat, the economic growth planned for 2010 will be attained and even surpassed. “The projected economic growth of 3% will be only the start of a healthy growth in Moldova,” he said. The Premier stressed that the budget revenues have been more efficiently used in the recent past. The collections rose by about 29% compared with last year. A large part of them are revenues from salary taxes and the fact that they increased shows that the incomes of the population are larger, Vlad Filat said. In an interview given to Info-Prim Neo last yearend, Vlad Filat said the recession in Moldova will be overcome in the first quarter of 2010.
