The chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party Vlad Filat said that today’s elections are decisive for Moldova. “The importance of today’s elections is immeasurable. We decide the country’s future. A lot of pressure is exerted on our country and there are many people who want no good to Moldova. The people must thus mobilize and by vote decide our future and the future of our children,” stated Vlad Filat immediately after voting.

He voiced hope that the Moldovan people will decide the country’s future in a responsible way and that they will choose to build a European future in Moldova, where the people will be free, the government will be democratic and everyone will live in prosperity.

At the polling place, Vlad Filat was accompanied by his wife, journalist Angela Gonta, who said that she voted for a better life for everyone and for the chance for our children to live in a European country.
