Vlad Filat monitors implementation of projects on the spot

After the leader of the PLDM Vlad Filat left the post of Premier, he began to attentively follow how the projects launched while his party was in power are implemented. In a TV program, the Liberal-Democratic leader said that the necessary steps will be taken after an analysis is made. He underlined that the major task of the PLDM is to monitor the government process at central and local levels, IPN reports.

“I meet with all my colleagues in settlements, but I meet especially with the Moldovan people. It is important to have this permanent communication. I must admit that I follow attentively how the projects are implemented. There are shortcomings as regards the quality and the speed at which the projects concerning drinking water, roads, schools and hospitals are carried out,” stated Vlad Filat.

He also said that he wants all the political parties to communicate with the people daily, not only during election campaigns. He added that the post of chairman of the PLDM implies a lot of energy and time, but he likes this job as he is able to communicate with colleagues from settlements with whom he didn’t have time to talk while Prime Minister.

Vlad Filat was dismissed from the post of Prime Minister after Parliament gave a vote of no confidence to the Government in March.
