Acting Prime Minister Vlad Filat had a meeting with members of the Straseni District Council, mayors of villages of the district and managers of divisions and public institutions. He said the Government will support the initiatives aimed at developing the district’s infrastructure, the attraction of investment projects being a relevant measure, IPN reports, quoting the executive’s press service.

”I visited a number of companies and saw people with ideas who know what they have to do. A number of projects to create new workplaces and to improve the rural infrastructure have been implemented,” said Vlad Filat, stressing the importance of maintaining efficient communication between the local and central authorities.

During the visit to Straseni on March 29, Vlad Filat visited the bakery company “Panifcoop”. The company’s director Vasile Grosu said they daily produce 5-6 tonnes of bread and bakery products and 500-600 kg of candies. The acting Prime Minister underlined the necessity of starting the registration of products’ names so that they are better promoted.
