Vlad Filat invited to visit Israel
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu invited Moldovan Premier Vlad Filat to pay an official visit to Israel, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Government.
The invitation says that the relations between Israel and Moldova have developed in different areas during the last few years. “The visit paid by Moldova’s foreign minister to Israel and the visit made by his Israeli counterpart to Chisinau last September underlined our common commitment to strengthen the relations between the two countries,” reads the invitation from Benjamin Netanyahu.
“I expect you to come to Jerusalem to examine new methods of improving the friendship and cooperation relations between our peoples.”
Benjamin Netanyahu had served as Prime Minister of Israel in 1996-1999. After a pause, he returned to politics in 2009, when he formed the new Israeli government.
