Vlad Filat: I will got to Tiraspol when agenda is well defined
Prime Minister Vlad Filat said he will pay a visit to the Transnistrian region when there will be a well defined agenda as regards the reopening of the talks in the 5+2 format. “These are the conditions and they are very logical and fair,” the Premier said in a press briefing on Friday, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
Back from his trip to Paris, Vlad Filat said France promised to support Moldova. “The message was clear. France is alongside Moldova in the European integration, reformation processes and the settlement of the Transnistrian dispute,” said Vlad Filat.
Asked by the journalists what he thought about Marian Lupu’s advice not to go to Tiraspol, Vlad Filat said he took cognizance of his statement.
On April 5, Igor Smirnov invited by an official letter Vlad Filat to Tiraspol to discuss matters of special importance in the process of regulating the relations between Moldova and Transnistria. The invitation was handed over to Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Eugen Carpov, during the consultations on the Transnistrian conflict held in Vienna, by Tiraspol’s representative to the negotiations Vladimir Yastrebcheak.
