The chairman of the PLDM Vlad Filat on February 14 reiterated that there will be no coalition with the PCRM. He expressed yet his conviction that the Government headed by Chiril Gaburici will gain the number of votes needed to be invested, both from the PCRM and PL, IPN reports.

The politician noted that the government program will remain practically the same as that presented by Iurie Leanca. He didn’t want to comment on his colleague’s statement that he could leave the PLDM, saying he knows well Iurie Leanca and knows that he is mature enough not to take decisions in a hurry. He stressed that the investiture of the Government is now the most important thing.

On February 14, President Nicolae Timofti had consultations with all the parliamentary groups for designating a candidate for premiership. Only the PLDM fielded a candidate. This is Chiril Gaburici, who managed the company “Moldcell” in 2008-2012 and then its daughter company in Azerbaijan. This is the second attempt to invest the Government. On February 12, the government program and the Cabinet proposed by Iurie Leanca didn’t get a vote of confidence.
