Prime Minister Vlad Filat will visit Azerbaijan next week. The program of the visit scheduled for January 17-18 was discussed with Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Moldova Namig Aliyev, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Government. The Premier said that the aims of the visit are to develop and strengthen the Moldovan-Azerbaijani relations and to extend the cooperation in such areas as economy, trade, energy and culture. “We prepared a number of projects that we want to implement together with the authorities of Azerbaijan. I’m sure that these projects are in the interests and for the benefit of the two countries,” said Vlad Filat. Ambassador Namig Aliyev voiced hope that the visit will help stimulate the Moldovan-Azerbaijani relations.
