The head of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) Vlad Filat expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of the Lib-Dem Veaceslav Ionita as the head of the Parliament’s commission on economy, budget and finance. He told a news conference that a decision will be taken after discussions on the issue are held within the party, IPN reports.
“The decisions in commissions are taken by all the members of the commission and it’s not right to shift the responsibility onto one member if things go wrong. The way the work of this commission was organized is unsatisfactory. Mister Ionita was empowered by the party to ensure the functioning and to coordinate the work of this commission,” stated Vlad Filat.
In another development, referring to the Government’s decision to assume responsibility for 11 bills before Parliament, Vlad Filat said it is important for Moldova to have instruments to cope with all the processes that are taking place or can take place in the future.
