Prime Minister Vlad Filat on February 18 had a meeting with EU ambassadors working in Chisinau. The officials discussed the political situation in the country, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the executive, Vlad Filat said that he wanted to have such a meeting in order to confer on the political situation in Moldova and on the reforms under implementation and the European integration process. During the discussions, the Premier said that the Government will continue to make effort to fulfill the made commitments and voiced hope that the initiated reforms will be implemented. Vlad Filat stressed that this year is a very important one for Moldova’s future. In this connection, he spoke about the importance of maintaining an efficient dialogue between the Government and the EU embassies working in Chisinau. According to the Premier, the visit that is to be paid by the foreign ministers of the UK, Poland and Sweden - William Hague, Radosław Sikorski, and Carl Bildt – is an honor for Moldova. The representatives of the diplomatic corps said they approve of the Moldovan Government’s commitment to maintain the European integration course and assured that they will support this priority.
