Vlad Filat calls on Marian Lupu to be optimistic
Prime Minister Vlad Filat urged Acting President Marian Lupu to be more optimistic about the liberalization of the visa regime between Moldova and the European Union, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“Marian Lupu’s skepticism counts less in this case. We are more concerned about the actions of our European partners, which should be doubled by definite steps on the part of the Parliament of Moldova. I consider we should all start work and comment less on other people’s acts,” the Premier said in a press briefing.
Earlier, Marian Lupu said the politicians must be sincere and not tell the people that Moldova will become part of the EU in a year or two or that it will have a visa-free regime with the European Union in 2012.
