The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova Vlad Filat married former news presenter of Pro TV Chisinau channel Angela Gonta. The announcement was made by Vlad Filat himself in the program “Fourth power” on N4 TV channel, IPN reports.

Vlad Filat said they married recently and the wedding ceremony involved the family and the closest friends. His sister and her husband were witnesses at their marriage in church. “I’m happy and I hope we will have luck and enjoy good health in life,” he stated.

On December 16, the Liberal-Democratic leader announced on his Facebook page that he and journalist Angela Gonta will get married soon. In order to avoid conflicts of interests, Angela Gonta will no longer present the news program on Pro TV.
 
Vlad Filat divorced Sanda Filat last summer. He has two children by his previous marriage.
