Vlad Filat: 2011 will be year of important structural reforms
2011 will be a year of important structural reforms and the new Government will need clear prospects for four years so as to be motivated to insistently promote these reforms, Prime Minister and Acting President Vlad Filat told the reporters, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
According to the Premier, the main event of 2010 is the obtaining of economic growth and this is a good start for 2011.
Vlad Filat stressed that the development partners provided support in overcoming the crisis witnessed in the last months of 2009. The program with the IMF enabled Moldova to benefit from loans and financial assistance for restoring the economic balance.
“€40 million of the €90 million provided by the European Commission to support the macroeconomic program of the Government of Moldova has been transferred recently to the Ministry of Finance. The other €50 million will be disbursed in 2011,” the Premier said.
As regards the work of the Filat Government, he said that as Premier he has never intervened in the minsters' work and has never doubted the correctness of their decisions or imposed certain positions when taking decisions.
