The executive secretary of the Party of Socialists Vlad Batrîncea, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, said the opposition will resort to all the legal ways to remove the current government that they consider incompetent and irresponsible towards the own people. Batrîncea noted the PSRM wants to unite all the healthy and professional political forces so that they together break the impasse experienced by the country. According to him, the PSRM is preparing a draft censure motion that will be proposed when the time is opportune, IPN reports.
The Deputy Speaker said the goal of the current opposition is to challenge in the Constitutional Court and at foreign level all the illegal and antisocial initiatives of the current government that they hope to remove much earlier than in four years.
“We are working on the legal aspects and will show that all the initiatives of this government are either illegal or nonprofessional or run counter to the international norms. We struggle to remove this government so that responsible persons come instead of it. The probability of removing this Government is very high as this is incompetent and destructive. I’ve got the impression that Maia Sandu is also dissatisfied with many ministers and even with the Premier. They do not have people who to work with and therefore started to look for people at the PDM. Anyway, this Government does not have capacities and we are heading for a censure motion,” Vlad Batrîncea stated in a program on Primul în Moldova channel.
Batrîncea said the protests are an instrument for exerting pressure on the government. He yet believes that the political forces should be first strengthened so as to mount large-scale national protests without a political color.
“The pressure exerted by society on the government grows. The people realize that they were deceived. They started to show their dissatisfaction with the quality of governance. In any case, this situation will end only with the removal of the government. We will resort to instruments accessible to the opposition. The protests are one of them and these should be national ones,” stated the executive secretary of the Party of Socialists, noting all the healthy political entities should combine forces and have a common agenda.
He also said that the role of the PSRM is to inform the population and the development partners of the Republic of Moldova about the abuses and illegalities committed by the Party of Action and Solidarity. They aim to obtain the annulment of the state of emergency declared by the government through the Constitutional Court.
