Socialist MP Vlad Batrîncea was elected vice president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) for 2021, IPN reports.
According to the Parliament’s press service, Vlad Batrîncea, who is the Deputy Speaker of Moldova’s Parliament, was elected vice president of the PACE in the spring session that is taking place in Strasbourg on April 19-22.
The post of vice president of the PACE offers Vlad Barîncea, who heads the delegation of the Parliament of Moldova to the PACE, the right to form part of the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
The PACE has a total of 20 vice presidents.
