Visas for Romania provided for free within 2-5 days
Visas for Romania provided to Moldovans will be for free and issued in 2-5 days, general consul of Romania in Moldova, Ionut Dicu, announced about this on Thursday, 6 July.
In special cases, Moldovan citizens will be able to get visa in 24 hours.
In order to obtain a visa, the Moldovan citizens will have to justify the purpose of their trip to Romania.
According to the diplomat, the reporters will benefit of extra facilities while traveling to Romania.
The head of the Visa and Legalization Department of MAEIE, Alexei Cracan, announced that the Agreement between Romania and RM on visa regime is on the final stage.
On the other hand, Cracan also mentioned that a Joint Visa Center provided by EU member states might be opened, possibly, by the end of 2006.
The Agreement between the 2 states will enter in force once Romania joins EU, planned for 1 January 2007.
