Viorel Morari resigned as chief prosecutor of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office. The information was confirmed for IPN by the press officer of the Prosecutor General’s Office Maria Vieru.
Maria Vieru said the resignation was received last week, but she cannot now communicate the reasons invoked by Viorel Morari.
Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office Mihaela Tarlapan said Viorel Morari is on leave.
