Viorel Morari was reinstated to the position of chief prosecutor of the Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office. An order to this effect was signed by the interim General Prosecutor, Dumitru Robu, today, September 17.

According to the Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office, the reinstatement of the position took place as a result of the amicable settlement, following the administrative litigation action.

Therefore, as of today, Eduard Varzar, ceases to hold the interim position of chief prosecutor of the Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office.

Viorel Morari resigned in May this year.
