Viorel Frunză is the new coach of the football team CS Stiinta Miroslava of Romania’s third league. He will be assisted by Sergiu Japalau, IPN reports.
Frunza started his career of coach in 2015 with Academia and then trained Speranta, Dinamo-Auto, and Dacia. His objective is to bring Stiinta Miroslava back to the second league.
As a footballer, Frunza played for Zimbru, FC Vaslui, Dacia, CFR Cluj, Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt, PAOK Salonic, Spartak Nalchik, Politehnica Iasi, and Atyrau. The former striker played 35 matches for the national football team of Moldova and scored seven goals.
