Viorel Bologan launches “Stages: Art to Become a Master” book in Romanian
Moldovan chess player Viorel Bologan Thursday presented his book “Stages: Art to Become a Master” in Romanian. He expressed his hope that the book will give a fresh impetus to the development of chess in Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“During many years, I have gained knowledge and experience in the area. I tried to share them with the young generation and all the chess lovers. The book contains histories about chess games and histories from life. I render homage to the coaches that helped me in my career,” Bologan said.
Writer Iulian Filip said that the book reads very well, adding that the motive of the coaches was the most overwhelming moment from the book
The president of the Writers Union Mihai Cimpoi said that a book is promoted through cultural and sports values rather than through politics and economy.
The book’s foreword was written by world chess champion Garry Kasparov. So far, the book has been issued in Russian, English, French and Spain.
