Village school in Orhei district renovated with U.S. support
A United States-funded project to renovate the school in the village of Bolohan, Orhei district, is nearing completion, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of the United States Embassy in Moldova.
The renovation of the Bolohan School is a two-phase project. Phase One – the construction of new sanitary facilities – was completed last week, and now students and faculty have access to indoor bathroom facilities. Phase Two – the complete renovation of the school and its gymnasium – will begin in December.
The renovation project has a cost of $510,000.
The Bolohan School serves over 200 children from three villages in Orhei district. Renovation of the Bolohan School is being coordinated by the U.S. Embassy's Office of Defense Cooperation.
