The Symphonic Orchestra of the National Philharmonic for the first time will give a concert of Viennese waltz at the shopping center Shopping MallDova, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the mall’s PR coordinator Irina Ghelbur. A tradition in the European countries, the Viennese Christmas will be held this year in an unconventional place in Chisinau. On December 22, starting at 5pm, the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Philharmonic will offer the visitors a unique artistic experience. For the first time, the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Philharmonic, conducted by Master of Art Mihai Agafita, will play music composed by Strauss in a shopping center. The famous works The Blue Danube, Tales from the Vienna Woods, Radetzky March, The Imperial Waltz will convey the atmosphere of the epoch when the waltz was in vogue and the formal events were held in ballrooms. Tchaikovsky’s Waltz of the Snowflakes performed by the National Philharmonic is a wonderful occasion for the lovers of classical music to enjoy themselves. The repertoire of the National Philharmonic at Shopping MallDova includes a program of Christmas songs and carols. On December 24, starting at 5pm, the Academic Choral Music Band “Doina” will entertain the public with a recital themed “Come, Come Dear Christmas”. The event will be directed by conductor Anatol Jar, Moldova’s Emeritus Artist. It will include famous carols and works from the universal repertoire dedicated to Christmas.
