Moldovan judoka Victor Sterpu took Junior European title. In Finland, the 20-year-old athlete won five victories in the 73 kg weight category.
Sterpu defeated Cypriot Dato Matsoukatov, Czech Adam Bydzovsky, Portuguese Joao Fernando, Russian Makhmadbek Makhmadbekov and Russian David Gamosov.
Earlier, Adil Osmanov won the silver medal in the 66 kg weight category. Cătălin Marian and Petru Pelivan also competed at the U20 European championship in Finland.
