Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta and European Commissioner for Energy Guenther Oettinger are expected to come to Chisinau. The two officials, accompanied by Prime Minister Iurie Leanca, will take part in the ceremony to inaugurate the Iasi-Ungheni gas pipeline in Zagarancea village of Ungheni on August 27, IPN reports.
According to the program disseminated by the Government’s press service, in the morning of August 27, Prime Ministers Victor Ponta and Iurie Leanca will visit the National Museum of Arts of Moldova, will lay flowers at the monument to Ruler Stefan the Great and Holy and will take part in the ceremony to donate books to the Municipal Library “B. P. Hasdeu”. They will also take part in the handover of 15 vehicles provided by the Government of Romania and will visit the kindergarten of Marinici village of Nisporeni district.
Between 1:30pm and 1:45pm, immediately after the ceremony to inaugurate the Iasi-Ungheni gas pipeline, the two Premiers and Commissioner Guenther Oettinger will make statements for the press.
At 2pm, Victor Ponta and Iurie Leanca will take part in the ceremony to donate five special vehicles to the service SMURD Moldova, which will be held at the Ungheni District Council.
