Victor Osipov says he does not expect surprises after Transnistrian elections

Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration Victor Osipov, in a press briefing on December 6, said that he does not expect surprises after the elections that will be held in the Transnistrian region, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Judging by the orientation of the candidates running in the Transnistrian elections, I think there will be no significant changes in the structure of the future Supreme Soviet and in the political objectives of the forces that now govern the breakaway republic,” Victor Osipov said. The elections for the Supreme Soviet will take place on December 12. The deputies are elected for a period of five years. A number of 134 candidates are running in elections.
