Victor Osipov: “In 2010 AMN hopes to regain the place it deserves”

The Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN) in the possible early parliamentary elections next year hopes to regain the place that it had on the political arena and that it deserve, the party's first vice president Victor Osipov said in a news conference. In 2010, the AMN plans to make progress by changing the party's central administration and implementing internal reforms, Info-Prim Neo reports. Victor Osipov said that the party's administration delayed the reformation and constitution of the Central Standing Bureau and the National Political Council as it is expecting the Ministry of Justice's verdict as regards the legality of the eighth congress of the AMN held early in December. Some of the members of the party do not agree with the method by which Serafim Urecheanu was reelected as president of the AMN. The former first vice president of the AMN Veaceslav Untila, who competed for the post of AMN president at that congress, was to file a challenge to the Ministry of Justice. Osipov praised Untila for his courage, saying anyone has the right to challenge what they consider not right or legal. “Though the accusations are groundless, we recognize the rights of our colleagues, whose initiatives obtained minor support at that congress,” the party's first vice president said. According to Osipov, accepting the results of the eighth congress will represent a compromise for conciliating the AMN. Speaking about the results achieved this year, Victor Osipov said that best result was the formation of the Alliance for European Integration. In 2010, AMN aims to step up its activity within the Alliance so as to fulfill the commitments it made to the people in a year hit by crisis.
