Victor Juc, director of the Institute of Legal, Political and Sociological Research, considers the PSRM aims to use the executive as a catalyst to step up the activity of the President. “They do not have short-term goals, but rather target the year 2020, when presidential elections will be held,” he stated in the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, IPN reports.
Victor Juc noted the PSRM pursues the goal of using the executive as a catalyst to step up the activity of the President. “We see that there Party of Socialists, by accepting these invitations and taking over the initiative, aims to only use their presence in the government as a mechanism for resetting the President’s activity,” stated Victor Juc.
Journalist Victor Nichitush said the bloc ACUM will not take part in the negotiations with the Party of Socialists set for April 11 as any negotiation they would have with the Socialists would affect the positions that ACUM tries to adopt at the start of the local elections.
According to the journalists, all the proposals presented by Andrei Năstase and Maia Sandu pursue the clear goal of taking a position for this year’s local elections. The two politicians do not want to form an alliance with the Socialists or with the Democrats.
The Party of Socialists invited the political bloc ACUM to discuss the formation of a parliamentary majority, constitution of the government coalition and investing of a functional government for Moldova and its people on April 11, starting at 11am, in hall No. 508 of the Parliament’s annex.
