The Democratic Party (PDM) can get the post of Prime Minister if the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) refuses it, vice director of the Institute of Legal and Political Research of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova Victor Juc said in the talk show “Place for dialogue” on the public station Radio Moldova, IPN reports.

“The PLDM, which holds the largest number of seats of MP, is to choose one of the key state posts the first. It could choose the post of Head of Parliament or of President. It is less probable that it will choose the post of head of state as this is risky given that there are now no clear guarantees that the President will be elected in six months. Thus, the Democrats can get the post of Premier. In fact, I consider that Andrian Candu is more suitable for an executive post. If the PDM refuses the post of Premier, the Liberal Party will have to assume it,” stated the scientist.

Victor Juc considers that the leaders of the three parties could return to negotiations after the consultations inside political bureaus. “They said they intend to consult the members of the political bureaus. Thus, new opinions and pretensions can appear. They can also discuss the distribution of posts there so as to decide who and what post will take,” he said.
