The candidate for mayor of Chisinau of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” Victor Chironda said that he came to vote with positive thoughts and with hope to return the City Hall to the people. He noted that Chisinau needs solid sustainable development, IPN reports.

“I came with positive thoughts, with hope that in the current elections we will manage to return the City Hall to the people, to free the City Hall from politics, corruption, incompetence and to ultimately offer the citizens of Chisinau a City Hall that works for everyone,” Victor Chironda told the press.

He also said that Chisinau should become a European city in which everyone will want to live. “I call on everyone to go to the polls as the vote is very important. The actions during the next four years will depend on our vote today,” stated the election contender.

Voting ends at 9 p.m.
