Victor Bodiu, for his part, thanked his colleagues from the three governmental teams with which he worked for their constant professional and moral support. “As I said on many occasions, I accepted to come from the private sector to the public one because I felt it was my civic duty to put my shoulder to the wheel of relaunching Moldova on an track of sustainable development, with a functional economy, administration and democracy. Now that the continuity of this process has been ensured after the November 30 vote, I've decided to take on new challenges”.
Victor Bodiu served as State Minister before being appointed General Secretary of the Filat and then the Leanca Cabinet. Until a new Government is invested, Bodiu's deputy Roman Cazan will serve as caretaker General Secretary.
