War veterans starting this year will receive a monthly state allowance in the amount of 10% of the forecast average monthly salary in the economy People with disabilities acquired as a result of the war will receive an allowance equal to 14% of the average monthly salary in the economy, IPN reports.
According to the new legal provisions, war veterans who fall into two or more categories will additionally benefit from an allowance increased by 4%. The value of the allowance will be updated at each increase in the forecast average monthly salary.
The law that was previously adopted by Parliament also provides for the institution of state allowances for special merits and stipulates the beneficiaries. The allowance will be granted both to the family members of war veterans who fell on duty and to the family members of people with disabilities acquired as a result of the war, who died.
The new provisions also ensure the allocation of financial means for sanatorium treatment tickets for war veterans, for social housing insurance, for accommodation in temporary placement centers for war veterans exposed to social risk, etc. Also, war veterans will be granted death benefit in the amount of 50% of the average salary forecast for the year of management.
The amount of the average monthly salary in the economy, forecast for 2025, is 16,100 lei.
