Veronica Dragalin proposed for chief of Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office

Veronica Dragalin passed the pre-selection stage and was suggested for the post of chief prosecutor of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office, IPN reports.

The decision taken by the special pre-selection commission is remitted to the Superior Council of Prosecutors for taking a final decision.

MP of the Party of Action and Solidarity Dumitru Alaiba said Veronica Dragalin is a deputy prosecutor in the Public Corruption and Civil Rights Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Central District of California. She has a Doctor of Law from the University of Virginia School Of Law. She was nominated for the Young Federal Attorney National Award and the First Rank Attorney Award for federal justice women. She speaks Romanian, English, Spanish, Russian, German and Italian.
